KIT ELEC SHOP propose a ME2401 electric motor pack to update the BUDDY electric car to 72V DC battery.

September 30, 2026, a user in Norway successfully got his BUDDY car running with the new ME2401 motor!
Among other things, he had to reverse the positions of the sine and cosine encoders on the 35-pin connector of the SEVCON GEN4 controller.
The wiring diagram will be modified accordingly, and future wiring will also be modified.
