Since 2018, Latvia has started the National Karting Championship for electric karts in classes TeK and TeK Open. We joined the class TeK this year. All 10 teams from different schools there are competing with the same set of equipment – ie 48V SEVCON GEN4 size 2 controller and Motenergy ME1118 motor.
The local company Blue Shock Race The local company Blue Shock Race provides a complete kit including the electric motor, the controller, the Lithium battery and the charger.
